ProTAK becomes part of AFRY

As of 4 January 2021, ProTAK Systems became part of AFRY. ProTAK’s web-based software for production optimisation perfectly fits the strategic ambitions of AFRY in digitalisation and sustainability, while both companies see great potential for the development of existing products through their combined skills.

Combining our skills with AFRY’s specialists and other activities, will enable ProTAK to offer its customers enhanced business support and thus better meet their needs, both locally and globally. The objective is to become a world-leading supplier of production systems for the process industry.

“With this venture between ProTAK and AFRY, we have realised ideal conditions to jointly develop and adapt our offering even further and thus improve the support to our customers. We envision significant potential and numerous synergies with ProTAK, where our products, together with the skills of each company are pooled together,” says David Andersson, Business Unit Digitalisation Manager at AFRY.

“Becoming part of an enterprise such as AFRY, with its considerably greater capacity, provides us with improved conditions for further development. At the same time, we achieve an increased level of confidence in the deliveries to our customers. In the past, we have grown together with our product, but now we’re stepping up to a new level. We look forward to the possibilities we can create together,” says Per Gannå, CEO of ProTAK Systems.
